The nearby Rouge River is famous for creating challenging rapids all season long, no matter the river level or flow. From mid-April to mid-September enjoy gushing along on huge waves in an unbeatable day of adventure along the Rouge River rapids. The Harrington Canyon, when the spring flood is at its peak and the Seven Sisters Section during the summer when levels are lower, each offer impressive continuous cascades of drops and ledges which will challenges and thrill any visitor. Calm pools at the bottom of every rapid are one of the river’s many advantages and make the Rouge a fun and safe place to raft.
