Terra Perma nature resort wild harvest
Harvest this iconic spring delicacy right from the forest
We’ll meet in the morning and talk about sustainable fiddlehead harvesting, about how to identify and where to find them. We’ll head out to some harvest spots on foot (occasionally by car). During our walk, participants will learn about the Terra Perma project and about the forest around them. We will harvest for a couple of hours before heading to the three season kitchen to prepare and savor a few simple dishes made from our freshly harvested fiddleheads. Participants will get to go home with some of the harvest. Harvest quantities vary on availability and the weather.
9:30 Meet up at Terra Perma general store
10:30 Orientation and fiddlehead information
