The Foundation mainly acts as an incubator by offering its members the opportunity to implement projects related to Permaculture, providing expertise and advice for their business development and financial support through its microfinance program.
Financial support can take the form of investment in infrastructure or the purchase of raw materials and specialized equipment. Loans cannot be used for marketing, salaries or other operating costs.
All submissions will be reviewed by a multidisciplinary advisory committee.
Eco-entrepreneurs must submit a business plan that includes:
- Objectives
- A schedule and timetable for implementation
- A marketing plan
- Financial plan (budget, amount requested, other contributions etc)
- Curriculum vitae of any and all involved partners
